My Story

From Broken to Still Standing

This is the truth behind the healing.

There was a time in my life where I felt like I was losing everything around me… and a part of myself too 💔

💔 When Everything Started Falling Apart

Loss was not something that happened once. It came in waves.

I lost my uncle. I lost my brother. I lost my father after watching him fight for years. I lost my home. And then I lost my oldest sister to breast cancer… in a matter of months.

I had plans to be there for her. I had resources. I had knowledge. I believed I could help her.

But life did not give me the time I thought I had.

And for a long time… I carried that with me.

This is not just my story… it might be yours too.

💭 The Guilt I Carried

I told myself I should have done more. I felt like I failed her. I replayed moments in my mind wondering what I could have changed.

At the same time, I was dealing with my own battles. High blood pressure. Anxiety. Depression. Trying to hold myself together while everything around me felt like it was falling apart.

And still… I had to keep going.

💪 Still… I Had to Keep Going

Because I was a mother first 💛

I became a mother at a young age. It was not planned. Life shifted quickly and I found myself raising four children on my own.

Three daughters and one son.

There was no backup plan. No one stepping in to carry the weight.

So I carried it.

I worked. I provided. I showed up every single day even when I was tired, even when I was hurting, even when I felt alone.

At first, I did it to prove something. I wanted to show that I did not need anyone who walked away from me.

But over time… that changed.

It became bigger than proving anything to anyone else.

It became about purpose 🙏🏽

🙏🏽 When Everything Shifted

Through everything I went through, I started to see something clearly.

So many women are out here giving everything they have to people who do not see them.

Loving people who do not know how to love them back.

Settling for less because somewhere along the way, they stopped believing they deserved more.

And I knew that feeling… because I lived it.

I know what it feels like to question your worth.

I know what it feels like to pour into others while slowly losing yourself.

I know what it feels like to stay too long, give too much, and walk away feeling empty.

But I also know something else now ✨

✨ What I Know Now

Healing is possible.

Growth is possible.

Choosing yourself is possible.

I did not get here overnight. This was not easy. This was lived. This was experienced. This was earned through pain, reflection, and faith.

And that is why I created Gracefully Broken, Still Standing

Not because I read it somewhere.

Not because it sounded good.

But because I lived it.

This workbook was created for the woman who feels overlooked, who feels used, who feels like she has been everything to everyone except herself.

The woman who is tired of repeating the same cycles.

The woman who is ready for something different but does not know where to start.

If that is you… I want you to know something 💛

You are not hard to love.

You have just been choosing people who do not know how.

And now… it is time to choose you.
